I got vascular access surgery for my kidney dialysis, but now my hand is paralyzed. The doctor says it's a rare case where the new blood vessel is pressing on a nerve. They told me to keep up with rehab, but mentioned it might never fully recover, and yet the hospital is telling me to discharge.

I'm typing this with one hand right now. Usually, you're discharged immediately after this surgery, but I've been here for 25 days and I'm stuck doing nothing. My health was already pretty bad, so I used my hands to lug my body around, but with my left hand paralyzed, even moving is a struggle. The hospital keeps nagging me to leave and I'm honestly losing my mind.
