The Korean military definitely needs stuff like cutting-edge fighter jets and massive surface ships... but with drones becoming the main meta of modern warfare, anti-drone systems have become an essential weapon tier.
Seeing soldiers hiding helplessly from drones... that sound is pure horror. Infantry on the front lines are desperate for weapons to counter FPV drones. Realistically, it's hard to hit a flying drone with a rifle, so shotguns were the main counter, but recently, net guns are emerging as a new alternative.

The Ptashka net launcher. It fires a 4m x 4m net that entangles the drone's propellers, bringing it down. Here is a POV video from a falling drone.
The moment the net hits the propellers, it drops straight down.
"Users are debating the practicality of net guns versus shotguns in the modern drone meta, while collectively shuddering at the nightmare-inducing sound of FPV drones."
