I was shocked to see a 4-year-old post of mine—that didn't even make the front page back then—get resurrected, so I'm dropping another update. My wife was driving an old Spark and I had a Trailblazer. We had to scrap the Spark, so we needed a replacement. I was thinking of just picking up a used car, but my wife dragged me to a Hyundai dealership. I thought, 'Oh, is she getting a Morning?' but then she started eyeing the Palisade. One thing led to another, and now I'm driving a Palisade Hybrid.
Coming from a Chevy to a Hyundai, the options are mind-blowing. Most of all, being able to remote start the car from home with my phone in the winter is just too damn good. Just a few years ago, I was commuting on a bicycle, so I'm feeling all sorts of ways. I told my wife the next car should be a BMW X7 and got smacked on the back for it. It might be nothing to you rich bros, but coming from a dirt-spoon background, I'm super happy.
