First of all, the fact that these hobbies are trending means people haven't lost their innocence yet, and the intent is great. On the other hand, it feels like life is so tough that people have nowhere to blow off steam or they're just nostalgic for the good old days. People tend to miss the past when reality is harsh. Also, we're in an era where divisive and hateful content is rising while healthy interactions are decreasing, so seeing people gather to laugh, run, and get close looks really nice. I hope these trends stay pure for a long time. Male participation is a bit low, but I hope it becomes a game with balanced communication and laughter. It looks great for now! I wonder if Freeze Tag or Kick the Can will make a comeback? Doing 'Malttuk-baggi' (Leapfrog) might actually lead to injuries now that we're older though.
"While some are vibing with the nostalgic neighborhood games, others are sounding the alarm about creeps and cult recruiters ruining the wholesome energy."
