Since it's the end of the year and I was feeling a bit empty, I called up an orphanage to ask if they needed anything. Luckily, they get enough daily supplies, but they said fruit prices are so crazy lately that the kids haven't been able to eat much. So I sent some tangerines and apples a few days ago, and today I sent some chicken since they said the kids love it. My own kid's birthday is coming up, and I wanted to share the good vibes, so I sent the food with that in mind. It's not much, but getting a text saying 'we'll enjoy the food' actually made me feel more thankful. It felt great to wrap up the year by sharing some warmth not just with my family but with other kids too. Hope you all finish December strong and have a healthy, happy 2026.
