Monster Hunter Wilds showed such insane optimization at launch that there wasn't a single GPU on the planet that could run it at max settings.
After the March release, they've been gathering feedback throughout 2025 and finally dropped an optimization patch with the recent update...!!!
TL;DR: GPU load decreased, but CPU bottlenecks became even more severe.
Anyway, it's roasting the GPU less now. FYI, just because the GPU load is down doesn't mean you can suddenly run this on a 1000-series card. The minimum FPS just went up by a tinyyyyy bit.
