2017-18: 30M KRW in stocks -> became 100M (Age 31-32) Late 2018: Moved into a 55M KRW studio jeonse in Sindaebang (Age 32) 2020: Got married, moved into a 280M KRW Seoul villa jeonse (Age 34) / Borrowed 200M in jeonse loans (Newlywed loan interest was like 90k KRW/month... total steal) Late 2020: Won the lottery for a 530M KRW apartment subscription in Suwon (Age 34) Late 2022: Moved into the 530M Suwon apartment (Age 36) / Repaid the 200M jeonse loan and took out a 300M mortgage (Akkim-e loan, monthly interest ~1M KRW) Late 2024: Sold the 530M apartment for 730M (Age 38) / Repaid the 300M mortgage, borrowed 500M to buy the Bundang apartment below (P+I ~2M KRW) Meanwhile in Dec: Signed for a 1.01B KRW 2009-build apartment in Bundang (Age 38) Early 2025: Moved into the 1.01B apartment as my primary residence (Age 39) Late 2025 (Current): Market price hit 1.45B (Age 39) I’m grinding pretty hard, right..? Just posted this because I wanted some praise. And after this, I’m debating if I should move into a Seoul reconstruction apartment. Oh, also consistently stacking monthly dividend ETFs (stocks+IRP+ISA) under 10M KRW. And... I'm just a regular salaryman... not an IT dev or anything, just general office staff... I borrowed a few tens of millions from my parents, but didn't get *that* much help... still grateful for that though T_T Just felt like sharing/venting, sorry bros.
