(This post contains spoilers for Stanley Kubrick's movie, The Shining)
Wendy Torrance, Jack Torrance's wife and Danny's mom. She's mostly known for shaking and screaming throughout the movie, but if you look at her actual track record at the end, sheโs freaking extraordinary.
While the hotel spirits possess her husband and he tries to kill Danny, she basically carries the whole team solo. Husband tries to bash her head in? She reverses it, cracks his skull instead, and locks him in the pantry.
Even the hotel ghost, before letting Jack out of the pantry, acknowledges it by saying, "Your wife's got a bit more spirit than you let on."
Even in that infamous bathroom scene, when Jack breaks through the door with an axe, she suppresses him by slashing his arm with a knife and then escapes through the window.
In the end, despite all that chaos, Jack Torrance fails his original goal of killing his wife and son, only managing to kill one innocent bystander. ...And the crazy part is, her mental strength and combat skills are actually nerfed here compared to the original novel ใทใทใทใท
