If you're pretty as a kid, do you get ugly when you grow up?

This is about my 5-year-old son. He has double eyelids, so his eyes are rounder and prettier than most, and his nose bridge is already well-defined. His face is slim and sharp. Everywhere we go, people tell us he’s handsome or cute. My husband and I want him to focus on academics, so no matter how much people praise him, we have no intention of making him a child actor or model.
