This guy is just a lowly Major, but he struts around in a custom uniform and a mask. His excuse for the mask is literally 'Oh, my eyes are just sensitive, lol.' People let it slide because he’s a good pilot, but then he gets schooled by a middle schooler who’s piloting an MS for the first time and has to bail. He lets the head of state’s son die and later bazookas the daughter’s head off. He basically buys a way younger Indian girl, sends her to the front lines, and when she dies, he has a meltdown saying she could've been his mother. After losing the war, he just puts on sunglasses, claims he’s not that guy, and defects. Then he suddenly backstabs everyone, reveals he’s the son of the original leader, and forms a rebel group. Finally, he decides humanity is trash and tries to drop an asteroid on Earth.
Every single thing he does is absolutely ridiculous, yet he’s the most popular character by far.
