First off, sorry for the eye-attack with the pajamas. I've been watching 'Culinary Class Wars' with my 9-year-old daughter lately. It's our first time watching a show for grown-ups together, so we're having a blast. Anyway, I thought it’d be a fun event to do, so I made the suggestion. The main ingredient: Rice! Since the kiddo loves rice so much. My menu was Arancini (fried fried rice), and my wife's was Spring Rolls (rice paper). To be honest, I wanted to object to rice paper being called a 'main ingredient,' but since I'd lose that fight anyway, I kept my mouth shut lol. Anyway, the daughter's choice was... Arancini!! As expected, you can't beat deep-fried food!! The last photo is her look of pure agony before choosing, worried she might hurt Mom or Dad's feelings. If there are any fellow married 'Bullpenner' dads watching the show with your kids, you should try this later. Just seeing the kids so excited made it a really great event.
