As soon as the episode starts, some female pundit appears on TV. 'Why is it that only women have to do housework?? A household is a community!! Women are victims, raising kids and cooking all by themselves!'

The female panelist on TV rants about why only women should suffer. She's spewing some specific BS, and Shin-chan's mom (Misae) is nodding along like, 'Omg, totally~ You're so right~'

Shin-chan's dad (Hiroshi) says she looks way too aggressive and suggests changing the channel. Misae tries to gaslight him, saying, 'Ugh, what are you talking about? She's working so hard for gender equality! You should listen to her and learn a thing or two!'

Misae picks a fight again: 'Why exactly do you hate her? Tell me!' Hiroshi replies, 'I get the gender equality part, but I just don't like her vibe and I don't want to listen to her. Give me a break...' Misae, getting all worked up, says, 'Sure, I guess you hate seeing the male fantasy break since I'm the only one doing chores (despite being a single-income home).' Then she hits him with: 'It's so funny, men always ignore women and act like they don't know anything the moment things get awkward.'

Hiroshi is baffled: 'When did I ever say that? I've never looked down on you for being a woman!'

'You didn't say it out loud, but that's how you act! A leaking pot at home leaks outside too, your behavior is so predictable! I bet you're like that at the office too!' Hiroshi is dumbfounded: 'What did I even do at the office?'

'What about that coffee thing? You said the coffee the female employee makes is so delicious!' Since this was actually true, he mumbles, 'Well... Miss Kim makes such good coffee, I couldn't help it...' This is where Misae's suspicion explodes: 'Miss Kim? Who the hell is that?'

The real brawl starts here. Hiroshi goes, 'Hmph, I guess you're just jealous?' and she fires back, 'Who would be jealous of an old-fashioned guy like you?' Hiroshi snaps, 'What? Then who's the person that married this old-fashioned guy!' and they start hurling unfiltered insults at each other.

As soon as they wake up, they start a meeting to decide who gets Shin-chan. They both seem to want custody, so they decide to let Shin-chan choose. 'Shin-chan, who do you want to live with?' Obviously, a 5-year-old doesn't know what's going on, so he just says he doesn't know.
"Users are reminiscing about the toxic family dynamics in Shin-chan, mentioning the infamous 'Devil-gu' pudding incident and the meta-joke about Misae being stuck in childcare hell for decades."
