The Japanese VA, Yurie Kozakai, even uploaded a few Speaky videos matching the Korean tone, which became a hot topic in Korea too. Originally, the JP Speaky was criticized for sounding too mature and being a 'misinterpretation' of the character, but after the KR version went viral in Japan, the JP VA re-recorded it in the KR style on her own and the reaction has been great.
Then the Korean VA for Speaky, Park Si-yoon, saw that and reacted saying it was super cute.
And when she posted a thank-you video in Japanese for the JP fans...
That video also went viral in both KR and JP, and the JP VA must have seen it because she posted a thank-you video in Korean for the KR fans lol. It's so cool to see a Korean VA's interpretation being 'reverse imported.' Anyway, it's such a wholesome meme, love to see it.
