On 'Backpacker 2,' the members are making tanghulu as a dessert for the students at Gyechon Elementary.
They skewer the fruit pieces,
and they're making the syrup to pour over them.
But an emergency strikes: the tanghulu syrup, which is supposed to be thick and sticky, is runny like water.
Ahn Bo-hyun, who's in charge of dessert, is flustered,
but he doesn't stop and tries to find a solution by searching on the internet.
Turns out they need agar-agar powder to fix the issue.
But Baek Jong-won didn't bring any agar-agar powder.
To make tanghulu, the syrup shouldn't be runny; it needs to harden a bit, and agar-agar helps thicken that watery syrup.
Ahn Bo-hyun says he heard Baek Jong-won say they had agar-agar while they were in the car before prep. But Chef Baek claims he never said that.
Once witnesses start coming forward, public opinion shifts to Bo-hyun's side instantly. Baek Jong-won gets all heated, claiming he's being framed and demands a 'video review' (VAR).
Bo-hyun also says he's being framed, so they both ask the crew to check the footage.
So the production team replayed what they talked about in the car before the cooking prep.

Turns out, the meaning of 'Agar-agar exists' was totally different for Jong-won and Bo-hyun. Jong-won's 'Agar-agar exists' = 'That ingredient exists on this planet.' Bo-hyun's 'Agar-agar exists' = 'Do we have that ingredient right now?' Usually, when you ask what ingredients are available during prep, you think like Bo-hyun. Nobody expects someone to randomly confirm the existence of an ingredient in the world like Baek Jong-won did lol. In the end, he misunderstood Bo-hyun and then just lashed out at the members when the cooking went south lmfao. Isn't the Baek Jong-won style of just getting mad and refusing to listen when your words clash totally hilarious? lol. He just wants to vent at people lol. And when he's wrong, he'd rather die than admit his mistake lol.
