The reason campaign games give you the ending right after conquest

Trust me, you guys don't want to deal with what happens after. Even if you're a god at war, domestic policy, and managing the line of succession, within 10 years of taking most of the territory, rebellions will be popping off everywhere, taxes won't come in, you'll have a massive army with no one to fight but can't disband them, and your once-loyal subordinates will turn into corrupt 'founding fathers'... You really don't want to see that crap in a game.
