Nazi uniforms! Weren't made! By Hugo Boss!!!!

It's a common myth that the German clothing brand Hugo Boss designed those famous black suits, but they were actually just one of many suppliers. The real designer behind the Nazi uniforms was Karl Diebitsch, who was an SS-Oberführer.

Also, that outfit everyone thinks of as 'the' uniform was actually the Allgemeine SS 'Full Dress' uniform, and it was discontinued in 1938. So, you wouldn't have seen it during the war, and no one froze to death in Russia wearing it. Of course, the Nazis were human, so they had winter gear, but thanks to the dumbass idea that they could conquer Russia in six months, it never got properly supplied.

For the record, the same guy also designed the Hitler Youth daggers that collectors love. The words engraved on the blade are 'Blut und Ehre' (Blood and Honor).
"Community members are geeking out over military history and debunking the 'Hugo Boss designed it' myth while roasting the Nazis' terrible logistics and 'Aryan' beauty standards."
