Thailand imported a massive batch, and apparently, the gun barrel couldn't handle the heat and burst. They haven't even been fighting for days, so they couldn't have shot that much
The reason wasn't an attack by Cambodian forces; apparently, the barrel just blew up on its own, as expected from Made in China.
