Checked out this dirt-cheap Chinese spot near my place with 2 friends recently. Thereโs a 3,500 KRW Jajangmyeon place nearby, but I heard this one has crazy cheap main dishes (yori) too. We went during lunch, so we missed out on the free mussel soup and Jajangmyeon serviceโyou only get those after 4 PM if you order dishes and drinks.

The menu (so damn cheap).

Kkanpung Shrimp and Kkanpunggi. The Kkanpung Shrimp was like 5,000 KRW for 4 pieces. How do they even make a profit at this price? Itโs freshly fried, spicy, and saltyโno way it tastes bad.

Tangsuyuk (Sweet and sour pork). The sauce was a bit light/bland, but it was fire once I dipped it in soy sauce. 5k for deep-fried meat? Insane god-tier value.

Even ordered Yusanseul, which I usually can't afford. The black stuff on top is soy sauceโtook the photo after pouring some over it.

Added some Rajogi (Spicy Chicken) too. Was already tipsy from day-drinking so I don't remember the taste well, just kept thinking 'man, this is cheap' while eating.

Finished it off with Jjamppong because I was craving the broth. It was loaded. Total for food was 33,000 KRWโabsolutely insane value. Though Soju was a bit pricey at 5k. 30k for 6 bottles lol. Can't believe this place is right by my house.
"Users are losing their minds over the 'time-traveler' prices for Chinese food, though a heated debate broke out over whether 5k Soju is a rip-off or just the sad reality of modern inflation."
