Part 2 of the review for Lego Speed Champions 77252 F1 The Movie APXGP Team race car.
Joshua Pearce and Sonny Hayes minifigs. While previous Speed Champions F1 sets were a bit of a letdown with generic minifigs due to licensing issues with real drivers' likenesses, this APXGP movie set includes two high-quality driver figs based on the movie specs.
Double-sided heads: sunglasses + smile, and a scowling expression.
Helmet details: Tommy Hilfiger logo and driver signatures are printed. Sonny's helmet even features his trademark Spade 7 logo.
Tire compound: Hard.
Front wing.
The geometric Apex livery is realized through a mix of stickers and printing. Since most of the rear packaging uses printed bricks, the livery looks very sharp.
Sidepod cooling louvers are stickers. Lacks a bit of depth which is a shame, but it feels sturdier than previous S-Cham F1 sets.
Floor combat update implemented simply using studs.
Two-shot of Joshua and Sonny. Since they gave us both drivers, it would've been nice if they included driver number stickers too.
Onboard T-cams in different colors for each driver.
With the movie ticket merch.

Lego version of the Dolby Cinema poster made using Nano Bananas.
