Yoon Jong-gye, the pioneer of Yangnyeom (seasoned) chicken and founder of 'Mexican Chicken,' has passed away at the age of 74.
According to his family on the 8th, he passed away from a chronic illness on the 30th of last month around 5 AM at his home in Cheongdo, Gyeongbuk.
Born in Daegu in April 1952, Yoon is known to have started 'Gyeseong Tongdak' in Daegu in the late 1970s after his printing business went bankrupt.
