Hi, I'm a husband in my 4th year of marriage. I'm posting this because I can't tell if I'm the one in the wrong regarding what happened yesterday. In a few days, my mother-in-law (MIL) is getting cataract surgery. My father-in-law (FIL) received his retirement pay and is still working a side job, so they're living quite comfortably. The problem started yesterday when I came home from work and gave her 1 million KRW (approx. $750) to help with expenses since she's going in for surgery. My wife then claimed that I 'don't care about her family at all.'
