God fucking dammit lol. I saw the 5060ti 16GB Coupang return for 580k KRW so I snagged it.
Got home from work, saw the delivery box, and was hyped about setting up the new GPU lol. But when I picked up the box, it felt weirdly light, which gave me a bad feeling, so I immediately started filming the unboxing LMAO.
I ordered an MSI 5060Ti, but the moment I took it out of the box, I saw GIGABYTE staring back at me.
Ah shit, I got played!
Seeing 'rev 1.1' on the sticker, it looks like a Gigabyte 2060. Some motherfucker swapped it out and returned it LMAO.
I’m utterly baffled LMAO. I got hit with a RAM swap just a few days ago too hahahaha.
It wasn’t in the video, but the dude didn't even bother wiping the dust off the GPU when he swapped it—a chunk of dust even fell out LMAO. Who is this scumbag, seriously?!
I chatted with customer service, and they processed the return pretty smoothly, but I kept telling them I had video proof, that someone swapped the item, and that the previous buyer needed to be banned—and all I got back were automated macro responses....
Fuck, seriously, Coupang is basically telling people to pull the swap scam at this point LMAO.
"Coupang returns are basically a low-risk "gacha roll" for scammers, and the community agrees that Coupang prioritizes saving labor costs over proper inspection, letting swap victims pile up."
