Back in 2008, when we moved to a bigger place and renovated, we completely replaced all the appliances with the models my wife wanted.
We've been using the LG washer/dryer combo drum machine we bought back then without any issues until now,
And today, it finally started acting up.
I mean, it's been nearly 17 years. It really served us well for a long time.
I found the issue today and requested A/S (After Service/repair).
Based on past Samsung repair experiences, I anticipate they'll say the parts are hard to source since itโs so old and just suggest buying a new one.
Maybe itโs because this was a product my wife cherished and was so happy about buying before she passed away.
Every time I do laundry, I think of my wife, and Iโve become deeply attached to it too. Even if it leaks, I just want to keep using it... T_T T_T T_T
"OP's story hit the feels hard, making everyone sympathize with his deep attachment to his late wife's appliance. The community is sending well wishes and suggesting he scour the web for used parts since official A/S will be brutal for a machine nearly two decades old."
