Local YouTube channels reported: "A young Korean guy showed off his superiority complex on the plane and acted inappropriately toward a woman, resulting in him being handed over to the aviation police and getting screwed. It seems this youth had to cry at the airport after being taken to the aviation police headquarters for investigation and slapped with a flight ban. This is Vietnam, not a movie set. Watch your behavior next time."
This is the part that makes me feel miserable.
I suspect this dude is also Protestant, and his personality/vibe is very similar to the Christians I know.
They blindly follow and show extreme deference (sadae-ism) toward countries like the US, Japan, and Israel, while treating people from countries they deem less developed (like Southeast Asians) terribly with some cheap-ass superiority complex.
When they act like total jerks and cause a problem, instead of asking the victim for forgiveness, they just pray to God (Jehovah).
This is exactly why I despise those specific Protestants and the ultra-right wingers.
"OP drops an extreme generalization linking one creep to the entire conservative evangelical movement; the comment section instantly devolves into a debate about the classification of weeping, wardrobe changes, and the merits of blaming an entire demographic."
