Quick review of my Starlink installation in an apartment complex (first in Korea!).
Installation purpose: Line backup, NAS line backup, and HTTPS circumvention.
I agonized over where to put it and ended up temporarily setting it up on top of the outdoor AC unit. Speeds peaked at 300 [Mbps], and the ping is solid, around 30ms.
Conclusion: It works great.
"The technical discussion quickly devolved into Elon Musk worship, comparing Starlink to avoiding censorship, and debating whether it's worth it if you can't handle the ping."
