The last day finally came. Tomorrow we're pretty much just heading to the airport in the morning, so today is the final day of sightseeing. Decided to tour the tourist spots in downtown Sapporo for the day.

The view from the accommodation is always amazing.

Breakfast on the 35th floor. It was expensive, but the taste and menu weren't much different from other business hotels. The benefit is eating while enjoying the view.

Since the hotel opens right up to Sapporo Station, I booked the Airport Express ticket for tomorrow in advance.

First stop: Hokkaido University. It's walking distance from Sapporo. The entire school was covered in snow and ice. I pity the students who have to attend this school......

Next, walked to Susukino and went to ride the Ferris wheel. Right after buying the 2-lap ticket, I spotted...

...the Miku Ferris wheel right next door....

I think it was probably this one.

The Ferris wheel goes up surprisingly high and keeps creaking, making me nervous as hell.

Walking through the shopping arcade, I saw a 'Menthera Maid Cafe'? Just checked out the entrance and moved on.

Just in case, I hit up all the stores near Animate, but there wasn't really anything worth buying.

Next place was the TV Tower.

Since you can see Odori Park all at once, it definitely looks pretty.

They had a stamp rally thing here, so I tried it. If you collect the stamps scattered across 5 locations, the design is complete.

From now on, the bear takes over the TV Tower.

Came down and walked towards Odori Park; they had a Christmas Market going on.

Walked a little further from Odori Park and arrived at the Clock Tower. Usually, I'd go inside things like this, but reviews said there was really nothing inside, so I just looked at it from the outside.

Next was the Former Hokkaido Government Building, and they had a Snow Miku sign right at the entrance.

If you go in, they give you a Snow Miku card as a special bonus.

Came out and tried the Samurai Burger for a late lunch... It's just a Big Mac, though?

It got dark again, so I went to see the TV Tower, but it was only 4:30 PM;; How many hours does Hokkaido lose in a day, seriously?

Once evening hit, the Christmas Market was bustling.

Walked a bit further and saw the illuminations set up.

Got back to the hotel, took out Butadon (pork bowl) from Ippin Stella Branch, and ate it while looking at the night view. The line was super long, so takeout isn't a bad idea if you're close by. The sightseeing is pretty much done today; tomorrow is just wrapping up the trip. I walked around all day today wearing just a hoodie without a puffer jacket, and I was freezing my ass off. As soon as I got back, I was sniffling, so I took cold medicine and allergy meds. Winter Hokkaido is definitely warmest if you wear a padded jacket.
"The logistics nerds are arguing about buying train tickets in advance while the Miku fans are hyped about the anime loot in Sapporo."
