Police have launched a terror investigation after men shot iron-tipped arrows in a popular downtown park. Some are saying this might be the work of 'Il-ppongs' (Japan-simps).

On the 7th around 11:40 PM, an arrow suddenly flew into the Youth Square in Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province.
Right next to where the arrow landed, a woman in her 50s was walking her dog.
The arrow was about 80cm long, with an iron tip attached to a plastic shaft.
Looking at where it hit, it left a hole deep enough for two knuckles in the frozen solid ground.
It could have caused serious damage to a person, a dog, or the statue.

The men fired the bow from the road toward the square.
The arrow flew across the square and landed about 70m away.
It flew right between the Statue of Peace and the woman, but it's not clear yet who the target was.
Police are tracking two men who appear to be in their 20s.
They plan to investigate all possibilities, whether it was an impulsive crime or a targeted act of terror against people or the Statue of Peace.
