A Korean user posted on Reddit asking if it's stupid to travel to the US right now. (It's not an old post; it was posted early this morning.)
The post got a ton of attention from the Reddit 'yang-bung-ies' (westerners), hitting 1,400 comments in just 14 hours.
Let's take a look at the comments.

"Iowa is cold as hell, you sure you're okay with that?" "Korea is colder, dummy." "Koreans are probably in Iowa right now to warm up." (Note: Today's temperature in Iowa is -6ยฐC)

"Just don't get a job at the Hyundai plant in Georgia lol."

"Don't listen to those basement-dwelling losers, bro."

"If you mess up, deportation will be the least of your worries."

"The best thing you can do for us is stay away." L "What's the problem with enforcing borders and immigration limits??" L "In other countries, thugs don't just kill people based on their mood."

"As long as your paperwork is in order, there's no problem. Don't listen to the fear-mongers."

"I'm a white Canadian and even I wouldn't go."

"Even your favorite band wouldn't want you spending money in a country like this."

Anyway, I brought this over because it's funny watching them fight like crazy with 1,400 commentsโone side saying 'Please don't come, bro! Staying away helps us!' and the other saying 'Don't listen to those idiots! If your papers are fine, you're good!' What do you Gaebungies think?
"Users are split between 'just go for it' and being genuinely weirded out by how much Americans seem to fear their own law enforcement. The consensus is that if the police don't get you, the terrible exchange rate definitely will."
