Part 1 is below; these aren't the ones that got actual stars.
1. Baeknyeon-ok

It's 100% domestic soy beans~~

Just ordered like this.

I thought the seaweed fulvescens & oyster pancake (maesaengi-guljeon) was a bit pricey, but it was loaded with oysters, huge, and pretty solid.

The lighting hit just right lol

The soft tofu stew (sun-jji) was just a mild flavor.

On the second visit, I had the ground soybean stew (biji-jjigae) and...

...ordered pumpkin pancakes. The pancakes felt pretty greasy. Overall clean, but not 'insanely delicious.' Worth a visit if you're nearby and want something light.
2. Bongsan-ok

This became my favorite dumpling soup spot... A must-visit whenever I'm in Seocho-dong. lol

Dumpling soup and basic side dishes.

Dumplings are big and have a nice, clean taste.

This is the kimchi-mal-i noodles, very clean.

I f***ing love the squid sundae ใ ใ ใ the seasoned pollack sashimi on the side is also delicious ใ ใ

Tried the dumpling hot pot too, the portion is huge.
Bubbling away. This is the small size.

Plenty of rice cakes too.

Had the spicy sashimi noodles this day.

Insanely delicious, love it. Ugh, I wanna go back.
3. Chungmuro Jjukkumi

Looks like it was selected until 2022. It was packed. The owner, a huge Lim Young-woong fan, was very cheerful.

Webfoot octopus and scallops.

Grilling away.

Had the fried rice too, but personally, the sauce felt a bit dry/chalky and the scallops were chewy ใ ใ I think the famous briquette-grilled octopus place in Busan is better. But I might go again if I'm craving octopus.
4. Seodaemun Daeseong-jip

Kkeu~ Did an 'open run' (queued for opening).

Came out fast.

Ordered boiled beef (suyuk) and...

...the soup (gukbap). Everyone including the owner was kind and cheerful, and since I like clean meat soup styles, I really enjoyed it. I still think about it sometimes. Might head back soon.
5. Wooraeok

"Users are drooling over the high-quality food photos, especially the squid sundae, while some chime in with their own mixed reviews on the famous octopus spot."
